Fireworks

I was using a masonry blade to cut out the cement/tile shower base that was left over after finishing the demolition of the moldy walls that I blogged about earlier. Lando was disturbed by the sparks, or fireworks as he called them, coming off the blade when it was cutting through the tile.

I'm paraphrasing here, but adjust the following to three-year-old grammar and pronunciation, i.e. woad instead of road:

"Daddy, don't light fireworks in the shower. You need to go out on the road. You're going to light the house on fire. The roof is going to light on fire and the upstairs and the downstairs."

He is one smart kid. My dad never let me light fireworks in the house either...and in fact, he has to supervise even to this day;)

I love Landon's parenting tactic. Did Rob obey?

How cute! So hopefully this is a sign that he will never try to catch the house on fire or play with matches:)
