Lando had his first swim lesson this morning. He's a bit scared of the water, but he lucks out that no one else signed up for his class, so he gets private lessons for the regular group lesson price.
I asked him what he learned, and these are the rules he recited to me:
Rule number one is always listen to the teacher.
Rule number two is no peeing in the pool.
Rule number three is always get wet in the shower before getting in the pool.

Perhaps most importantly, as his dad once learned, don't stand on the side and pee down into the pool right next to the lifeguard tower.
My boys told me another rule in their swim class- If you're too scared to go off the diving board, you don't have to!
Don't pee in the pool? I thought you were suppose to pee in the pool? :)
They had to separate my kids at lessons because they are screwballs!
Can you wet yourself with pee in the shower before you get in the pool?
