Here are some random pictures from July.
Brynlee building towers with Uno cards...
Ellie is constantly on the go. She crawls to whatever she can pull herself up to and then cruises along. That girl doesn't stop much, but when she does she sure is a great little snuggler...
Trevor went to the summer session at the USU Child Development Lab school. They had "Mismatch Day" during the last week of school. Trevor still talks about "remember that one time when I wore my church shoe and water shoe to school. That was silly!"
The North Logan 24th of July (Pioneer Day) parade is always fun! I love how *for the most part* there are still families and church groups that participate instead of it becoming a "promote your business" parade. There is some of that but I like the "small town" feel of this one.
Of course the favorite part for the kids is the candy that is thrown. Here they are waiting for the next batch to be thrown...
We all got a kick out of the chicken in the cage hanging on the back of this car...
And the player piano on the back of this one...
This family used to be in our ward. They had their 4 kids riding in a little cart pulled by a pony...
Good ol' Lee's Marketplace...
In August, Altius Gymnastics Academy had their intrasquad/open house registration where the kids could show off their skills. Brynlee did her floor routine. Afterwards, they received a medal and got to salute on the 1st place stand.
We've had some amazing sunsets lately. We were driving home one evening and luckily had the camera in the car with us. The sun was bright orange and you could literally see it getting lower and lower until it disappeared behind the mountain, which probably took less than 5 minutes. Crazy!
I think I'll break up the rest of the August activities into their own posts. Stay tuned!
