Of course, I was thinking last night....what if we catch the mouse and Rob is gone on a campout...and what happens this morning?? Yep, I go into the kitchen to get Landon some breakfast and looky there...the MOUSE! I could tell (even though I didn't have my contacts in or glasses on) that the trap was in a slightly different place on the floor and that there was something dark on it. So I went to get my glasses and yep, it's the mouse! The other ones that we caught on the sticky trap died before we saw them, but of course this one has to still be alive, wiggling and squeaking...yah, I'm just about freaking out right now! I think I'll stay out of the kitchen until Rob gets home! Hopefully it will be soon, since a couple of the scouts needed to be home early this morning!

Yay-- of course it had to be when Rob was gone..
Where do you get your cute blog backgrounds?
hooray! except for the part when Rob wasn't home. That's not something a woman should deal with. When you say "the other ones we caught on the sticky trap" do you mean others just recently, or like others in years past? Ewww...
congratulations but eew, gross.
That reminds me when the girls were small and playing with barbies, K started to scream and when I went into check on them, she said her barbie was moving, I looked down, and there was a scorpion. I put a jar over it and I guess the adrenalin was too much and I fainted. I remember coming around to the girls saying "mom, are you okay, wake up." Anyway, the jar stayed over the scorpion until the bug man came to spray, Paul was gone TDY.
This is one of the reasons I don't want to live in an apartment while Jake is gone for 15 months of training/Iraq! Things ALWAYS go wrong while the husbands are gone! And in 15 months, A LOT can go wrong! SO glad Mom offered for us to live with them. I just hope they don't kick us out because the baby wakes them up all night long!
