On Saturday, we went to the
North Logan Pumpkin Walk. Cheryl and her kids and Christie and her boys came up and Grandma Barton also joined us. The theme this year was "Calling All Heroes." Here are a few of the scenes...
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom...

Landon and Neil in front of Kung Fu Panda...

Landon trying to imitate the Joker...

Here's two thumbs up for Uncle Jake who is deployed to Iraq...

I got a little choked up at this scene. There was a CD player playing "Proud to Be An American", which is a song I love! I couldn't help but sing along! I guess the war never really hits home until you have a family member in harms way. We pray every day for Jake to be protected!

After we went through the scenes, the kids got their pictures in the cutouts...
Trevor as Yoda (which is who he'll really be for Halloween)

Brynlee as Ariel...

Ashlee as Sleeping Beauty and Landon as the Prince...

All the Barton cousins (minus Eddie...he was visiting his cousins on the other side of his family)...

The Barton girl cousins (finally my girls aren't the only ones!)...

After the Pumpkin Walk, we went to Grandma and Grandpa Barton's house for dinner and for the cousins to play. They all put on their Halloween costumes and did a little parade...

Love the pics. Looks like you had a fun time.
Wish we could have been there.
I also wish the Temple of Doom scene would have depicted pulling a heart out of someone's chest with a pumpkin and its innards. That would have been awesome.
I love all the pictures of the kids sticking their heads through the holes of other characters. They are so funny! Love all the costumes your kids have...they're perfect!
I love the idea of getting all the cousins together at G-ma's for a parade. That is so cute! I also got choked up with the "Proud to be and American" My husband was only activated for 6 months and I can't even imagine what all those families go through having them gone 1-2 years!
Luke was Yoda when he was the same age as Trevor! You could have borrowed mine! So cute, though. Love all the costumes and the pumpkin walk looked like fun!
