Ashlee and her friend Mariah in their baptism jumpers...
Beautiful girls in their beautiful white dresses after the baptism...

A couple of weeks ago, Ashlee and I went shopping for a dress. I really wasn't planning on making one, mainly because I was busy and figured it would be easiest to buy one. We went to 3 stores and couldn't find a dress she liked that was her size. There were two that she really liked but they went from a size 6 to a size 12. I guess they were popular dresses for that age since no one had size 8 or 10. I found a pattern similar to the style of one that she liked, made a few tweaks (adding an organza overlay with wide band) and now I'm really glad that ended up making it.

what a big day! Glad your parents could make it up - and great job on the dress!
I'm sad we couldn't be there-- sounds like everything went well. Congrats to Ashlee and great job on the dress-- she looks great!
Congratulations! That is wonderful. I can't believe she is eight already. Time flies by so quickly. Great job on the dress.
I can't believe you made that dress! It looked so pretty. You should've seen Ashley grinning--no, glowing--in primary when she and Mariah were being recognized.
We were so glad we could come up and see Ashlee get baptised. I loved her dress.
Congratulations Ashlee! The dress looks beautiful and so does Ashlee in it! She's even smiling with her teeth showing in all the pictures-you can tell she was so happy!
I can't believe you made the dress. You rock. Ace gets baptized this year and I get teary eyed just thinking about it!
I am impressed! It looks great. Do you feel old now that you have an 8 year old? That's when it hit for me:)
