Animals

For dinner last night, we had steak, at Ashlee's request. Lando asked me if I killed the cow. I said no and that we got it from Grandpa's warehouse. The dinner topic somehow moved to what life would be like if we didn't have any animals (e.g., no blankets, since we wouldn't have sheep's wool).

Out of nowhere, Brynlee pulled out this animal-related fact:

Brynlee: Back in the old days before they had doctors or I mean before they had animal doctors, if an animal got hurt or sick, they had to kill it.

Rob: Who told you that?

Brynlee: Nobody.

Rob: No really, who told you that?

Brynlee: No one told me.

Rob: Well, how do you know that?

Brynlee: From television.
