Brynlee has a not-so-secret admirer. After dinner I asked her to bring me the papers from her backpack. The first paper she showed me was a note. It was on the same paper as another note that she got yesterday from a girl in her class. I asked her if they have that paper in her classroom and she said one of the centers this week was to write a note to someone in the class. So that explained the note...it was from Anthony, it was part of an assignment, and it said...
...no worries, right?
Then I finished going through her backpack. What did I find? Another note...from Anthony, with a little more than just "I hope you have a grate time"...
At least he spelled her name right on the first one :)

I love it. And why are kids that age so obsessed with having a good time? Brynlee's 'boyfriend' wishes her a great time, my son Braden prays that we will 'all have a good time today'...Having a good time must be super-important to 6 year olds!
i have to admit...i would have a crush on brynlee too! she's a doll and i can't blame the kid. but seriously, if he's trying to impress her he's going to have to consistently spell her name right...
Ahhh, kindergarten romance. :) Ashtyn's got a little crush at the moment too. I used to think it was cute when she got to be good friends with boys but after all the love notes that have been going back & forth lately, it just makes me afraid for her teenage years. :)
Too, too funny!! I love it...I just don't remember it starting that young!
I met Amy once at Bunco but I haven't seen those girls since. And I do know Allison and her sister Marlee. I just need to buckle down and call them and go do something so I can stop being a hermit crab!! It's never easy moving and it's especially hard when you don't know anybody!! And it doesn't help that I'm not a very outgoing person!
