Landon discovered the Rubbermaid tote full of the tiny legos in the closet the other day. Today he wanted me to make a blue car for "his guy". I searched through all the little booklets of instructions we have and luckily I found some for a blue jeep. Now I know this looks like an easy thing to make, but having to search through the bazillion legos for the right pieces wasn't easy. I think it took me an hour and a half to finish it!

When I handed it to him when I finished it, the two sweetest words came out of his mouth....thank you! It's so nice to hear that! It seems like when they're really little you keep telling them "say thank you" and you know it's paid off when they say it without the prompting! Such a sweet little boy!

It's nice when they can finally make what they want on their own instead of you always trying to figure out how to make what they want.
oh lando...that's a pretty cool little car you made him. In the first picture it looks huge and I was like "whoa..." and then I saw it in comparison to landon and still thought it was cool, but not quite as gigantic. You're the best mom!
excellent work on the legos. :)
i'm impressed! i probably would of said "wait till daddy gets home"!
It's the best feeling when you know they are really thankful.
I'm so glad I stumbled upon your blog. I love seeing your family.
Anyone can join the WLC. Just go to the blog and post your weight on Fridays. I'm trying to get people to share more so it becomes a support group.
