Watching Robin Hood, during the part where Prince John angrily raises taxes in order to "squeeze every last drop out of those insolent, musical peasants," Ashlee had the following to say about taxes:
Ashlee: I'm glad we're not rich, because Barack Obama is going to raise taxes for rich people.
Rob: How do you know we're not rich?
Ashlee: I don't know; I can just tell.

My kids tell me they wish we were rich. I tell them we are rich with love. They don't buy it!
How funny! :) Do you think she knows what taxes are? It's always interesting to get a child's take on politics. Ashtyn told me that she voted for John McCain because she likes his pretty white hair.
